That Malaga is beautiful in form and substance is no secret. The capital of the Costa del Sol goes beyond references such as Picasso, Antonio Banderas, a Holy Week declared of International Tourist Interest, a film festival with increasing prominence or the pleasure of eating spits in a beach bar. And although everything mentioned is a national treasure, Malaga adds on. With 28 museums it is the second cultural city in Spain, behind Madrid and its leisure proposal –good eating, drinking and going out– is not far behind.
Although the Costa Tropical is located within the province of Granada, our service area extends to Malaga. The coastal region of the Costa del Sol stretches from the Maro cliffs in the east to Punta Chullera in the west.
The coast shows a diversity of landscapes: beaches, cliffs, estuaries, bays and dunes. The Costa del Sol is similar to Southern California in landscapes, climate, and geography.
